On 17.04.2011(Sunday), the gals were having birthday celebration for See Ying at Smokehouse, Bangsar. There are Smokehouse in Cameron Highlands and Fraser's Hill too. So, for KL people you still can enjoy the English Tudor style cottage in the middle of KL city without going up to the hills.

Besides the traditional British food that you can find from the restaurant, you also can try out the delightful Thai cuisine.
Spicy Prawn Soup(RM12) brings you back to Bangkok.
Mushroom Soup (RM12) is original.
Chicken & Mushroom Pie(RM28) is recommended by Momo. It's a perfect dish with crunchy pie crust and creamy filling.
Stir Pineapple Rice(RM15) is quite ordinary.
Grilled Dory(RM26) is luscious and fresh.
Bombe Alaska(RM28) is a dessert that full of surprise. It's flamed when it serve. The mixture of rum and ice cream just make the dessert complete.

I was enjoying myself hang out with the girls at this cozy and comfortable restaurant. You can have a lot of laughter and sharing while enjoying the delicious food. For my next visit, I will try out the Smokehouse’s signature afternoon tea set. Probably, I can try that at Fraser's Hill.
