Dear Blog

Dear blog, sorry that I have been abandoned you for so long. Life was pretty tight up with work and leisure. Life is great anyway when you have something to busy with, which means you are valuable for others as well. I admit I have been quite lazy and giving excuses for not updating blog. Busy with Candy Crush as well, need to be more self control on that. Busy is not a good excuse but it's all about time management and self management. Life is all about non stop learning. Note to myself from now, be determine and motivated in doing anything. Life is short and time will not stop for you.

Recently read an interesting synopsis for a book - Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. I'm so tempting to buy the book, should I? Anybody read this book before? I heard they will shoot a movie based on this book. I'm sure it will not be show on Malaysia's cinema.

I really appreciate all the attendees for the dinner, especially Chris, Wendy and Steven. I grew a lot under their guidance and support. Besides work, we all just like friends in private. Time for me to get out to explore other opportunities but I will never forget people that taught and helped me before. Once again, thank you so much.

Mickey Mouse Exhibition@Mid Valley

On 03.06.2012(Sunday), me, Momo and mom went to Mid Valley to see the Mickey Mouse Exhibition. Mickey Mouse always is the all time favorite cartoon no matter how old you are. Both Momo and I wore Mickey Mouse shirt to attend. Photobucket

The exhibition was located at the center court of Mid Valley, from 24 May – 10 June 2012. It was a partnership of HSBC Bank Malaysia and Fun Characters International for the “Mickey Mouse Through The Years Project 2012″. It was displaying over 350 6-inch, numbers of 6-feet and a 10-feet tall colorful ‘painted-on” Mickey Mouse figurines.

Don't forget me and Golden Mickey

There were many different patterns of Mickey other than the above photos. Although the exhibition is over, but some of the Mickey Mouse figurines are still displaying in some of the corner of Mid Valley. That day I saw a Batman Mickey Mouse but forgot to take photo. You can still check it out if you miss out the exhibition.

Good Evening Bangkok@One Utama

On 04.05.2012(Thursday), Steve, Jean and I have a surprise birthday celebration for Huey Ying. Jean and I arrived Good Evening Bangkok, One Utama after Huey Ying and Steve have been seated, like we coincidentally were having dinner at the same place. Photobucket Good Evening Bangkok served authentic Thai cuisine and it is located at Ground Floor, New Wing.

Here we are

Cozy environment

Photobucket
Mieng Kam(RM15.90)-This traditional snack is good, you should put the sauce inside and outside to make it savory.

Photobucket
Royal Money Bag(RM8.90)-Crunchy, dumpling is my all time favorite.

Photobucket
Green Curry Chicken(RM15.90)-not too hot and it goes well with white rice.

Photobucket
Mee Hoon in Tom Yam Seafood(RM16)-acceptable spicy and fresh seafood.

Photobucket
Tom Yam River Prawn 4-5pax(RM15)-the taste of sour and spicy just nice.

Photobucket
Steamed Thai Jasmine Rice(RM3 per pax)-wish to eat more but need to cut down carbohydrate.

Besides Japanese food, I like spicy and fried food. Therefore, I can't resist Thai cuisine especially the tom yam and mango sticky rice. The food were delicious and suitable with our Malaysian taste. I can finish three bowls of rice with only just tom yam soup. The service was good, probably due to not so crowded during weekdays. Environment is comfortable and spacious. Lastly, the price is quite reasonable for a meal in One Utama.

His Name...

Sometimes having good memory is not an advantage but will make you feel suffer especially words from someone who used to be very important to you.

You got your English name based on my name to show how much you love me but now those words seems like full of thousand lies. Honestly, I don't miss you or still in love with you but when I see how happy you are now, I just wondered...Did you really love me?

I'm glad that you still using the English name and I still believe in what you told me. Life will be better in this way.

Souled Out started up the first restaurant in Mont Kiara in year 1996. The restaurant is famous of cozy environment, delicious food and friendly service. When the restaurant expanded, it moved to Desa Sri Hartamas with two levels and bigger compound. Last year, they have another new branch in Menara HSC, Jalan Ampang. If you are celebrating your birthday in Souled Out, friendly waiters and waitress will sing birthday song and take photo for you as memory.
