1st Day of CNY + V Day at Yuzu Japanese Restaurant & G6

This year Chinese New Year was so special because it was Valentine's Day too. There was nothing to regret if you don't have someone special to celebrate with. I was having fun time celebrating with a bunch of great friends on this special day. Our celebration started with dinner at Yuzu Japanese Restaurant located at The Gardens.

I think the environment of the restaurant is comfortable but the service kinda slow, need to call few times then the waiters only will get what you need. It was probably due to it was festive season. They were giving a free special Valentine's dish on that day. Overall, I think the food was average. We continued our night with movie-Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief. The night was still young after movie, we went back to The Gardens for some drinks at G6.

It was my first time drinking at G6 (I'm kinda outdated lately). I think the the lighting of the club is too bright and make me too conscious. Anyway, then fun outing is depends on who you hang out with instead of the venue. All photos took by Robin Chew with his DSLR (I'm not dare to take out my ordinary digital camera ). Bangkok Trip~Day 3(16.01.2009) ~ Bed Supperclub

I can't believe the guys so fast get ready when come to clubbing, they were so slow on the previous outing. This Bed Supperclub is located at Sukhumit Road 11,we just walked to this club.

Basically it is divided into two sections - Bed Bar and Bed Supperclub. We were drinking at Bed Bar first before we explored the Bed Supperclub.

The Bed Bar was playing trance music while the Bed Supperclub was playing R&B. We were having so much fun here. This was my first time surrounded by so many 鬼佬 and I felt I'm so tiny. I even didn't put any make up because I forgot to bring but still pretty, right?

End of Day 3

Bangkok Trip~Day 2(15.01.2009) ~ Sirocco Skybar

We took BTS and a long walk to this Sirocco Skybar. We could see this building from far but we couldn't find the correct path. Finally we reached our destination.

This bar or restaurant is located on the 63rd floor of the State Tower. They have Dress Code, I witnessed myself a foreigner has been chased out of Skybar because of inappropriate dress code. Luckily all of us dressed appropriate. When I reached the 63rd floor, I was so amazed with the fantastic view. There were a lot of foreigners whose dressed up with a glass of wine or beer holding in their hands. All of us looks like come from 'kampung'.

There was a live performance here and you will like to spend the whole night here. So for those who will like to have a visit here, remember to wear smartly because slipper and short pants are strictly not allowed.

We unable to get any transport to go back to our hostel, then we decided to take 'tuk tuk'. Nine persons took three 'tuk tuk'. The traffic was so clear and the three 'tuk tuk' were racing. It was an unforgettable experience.
