Perth Trip ~ Final Chapter ~ Food by Leng

We were having great time during our journey at Perth. Thanks to Leng for her hospitality although she was busy with her PhD. She have prepared some food for us and the best was the dinner on the final day.

Leng was so kind, she knew we didn't take any rice during the Perth trip, so she purposely cooked rice just for us. So sweet.
I really miss Leng a lot. Hope she doing fine and make us proud that we have a PhD graduate friend. Add oil ya.

Perth Trip ~ Day 6(10.08.2009) ~ Harbour Town, Corica's Apple Strudel & Roc Candy

We went to Harbour Town for shopping after enjoyed the beauty of natural. I grabbed a AU$5 sling-bag for myself.





Then we went to search for the delicious Corica's Apple Strudel.

They are selling other food besides Apple Strudel

We were eating the Apple Strudel at a park and many birds were starring at us. The Apple Strudel was so delicious especially you were eating during the cold winter with the icing sugar and richer custard and cream. If I not mistaken, the full-size of apple strudel was AU$19. Then we moved on to our next specialty-Roc Candy.











The candy was special and you can customize for the wordings and taste. The making of candy was fascinating and the varieties of candy really made my eyes open big big. Then we went to a supermarket nearby to get some ingredients for dinner. They have the self serve cash out counter, you just scan the bar code of each items then pay it yourself too. I think this kind of system only can implement at those developed country where the citizens are self-discipline and educated.

Perth Trip ~ Day 6(10.08.2009) ~ Kings Park & Botanic Garden

On the 6th day of Perth trip, we went to Kings Park after our breakfast at Leng's house. We were enjoying the beauty of natural and the freshness of flora during the winter of Australia. We walked through the botanic garden, DNA Tower Climb and Lotterywest Federation Walkway. There were lots of unique and beautiful flora in the garden.

Wittenoom Floral Clock-it really can move!

The sequence of the photos were what we saw along the walk. I felt recharged after the walk at Kings Park and Botanic Garden. It felt great to get away from the busy city.
