My Penny of View : This movie was picking up where the third film ended. Alice together her clones went to find her arch-nemesis, Albert Wesker for revenge. He was showed up first time in the series. Alice demolished Albert's office in Japan and Albert tried to escape out with helicopter. Alice followed him but Albert injected her some fluid that will demolish the T-Virus in her body. After that, Alice didn't have superhuman strength, speed, and regenerative capabilities.
Although Alice became human again, she still continued roaming the world searching for any remaining survivors. She went to Alaska searching for Arcadia that was virus-free colony. She found nobody but Claire and she was suffering with amnesia. Then both of them entered the ruined Los Angeles and they found a group of survivors but they were surrounded by lots of undead. Alice found Claire's brother, Chris too. Later they discovered that Arcadia was a cruise that picked up survivors all over the world. Alice together with others tried to find a way out to Arcadia but there were lots of undead out there. How they escape? Who will survive?
I get to watch the movie two days earlier the actual and global released date. Everyone especially Resident Evil fans are looking forward to this movie since the last movie-Resident Evil: Extinction in year 2007. Alice still so awesome with her move and skill killing those undead especially she has lost her superhuman power in this movie. She always the heroine who try to save the survivors. I was wondering how come there are still so many survivors if the T-virus like spreading globally? Anyway, it was based on the video game and seems like the characters can always return anytime. This movie was the first of the series that released in 3D version. There were many scenes that purposely captured to create 3D effects. I think it will be fascinating if you watch it in 3D version. The movie made me think to play the video game. Killing undead is cool.

clearly this time around the production
did not show any sincerity to focus on
the story developing but rather to put
all the effort for 3D...and with that kind of " handwork " RE 4 franchise
had turn into another stupid non brainier zombie shoot em up movie...
rather depressing..

Well you just wait, Resident Evil is not going anywhere. soon XBOX will have remoteless controllers, and Samsung is already selling 3D televisions. There's plenty more to come...

yes in fact the technology is still very early stage but i sure for some revolution their can focus back to storyline again..tat u have to wait patiently..
