Our third day of Perth trip began with exploration of The Aquarium of Western Australia (AQWA). It is a privately owned aquarium located at Hillarys Boats Harbour. Attraction of AQWA are Australia’s largest aquarium and underwater tunnel, world’s largest collection of Western Australian marine life, beautiful living coral reefs, giant sharks, rays and turtles and interactive fun. The admission price was AU$26.50 for adult.

I enjoyed this aquarium tour. We managed to see how the workers feed the marine creatures, they have been treated as baby included sharks and stingray. Anyway, I prefer Underwater World at Sentosa Island, maybe because I got to see pink dolphin show at Sentosa Island. However, again due to winter season, we didn't see any special marina creatures such as whale.

Front entrance of AQWA

Boxfish
Beautiful coral
A blue fish stuck in the rock

Here come the sharks
Leafy Seadragon
The worker was feeding the Unagi (eel)
Lionfish
I think this is another kind of eel
Can you see what is this?
Close up shooting...can you see this is a fish?

Actually jellyfish is colourless but it can reflect the colour of the light, very beautiful.

Seahorse
Another kind of coral
Finding Nemo

Touch pool for experiencing the marine creatures

It was feeding time, the worker feed the fish just like feeding a baby
Hillarys Boat Harbour is such a beautiful place
