My Penny of View :Odin, king of Asgard defeated Frost Giants to prevent them to conquer the Nine Realms. He took the Casket which was their source of power to control the Frost Giants. Odin has two sons-Thor and Loki. On the day when Thor was going to take over the Asgard Kingdom, the Frost Giants attempted to get back the Casket and interrupted the ceremony. Thor felt angry especially Odin decided not to look into the incident and give them some punishment. Thor went to confront Laufey, King of the Frost Giants with Loki and friends. Thor has broke the mutual agreement between Asgardian and Frost Giants and a war ensued. Odin managed to save Thor and others on time but he punished Thor by removing his godly power and expelling him to earth with his spelled hammer. Thor arrived at earth and found by Jane, Darcy and Dr. Erik when they were doing some research on extraordinary phenomena. What will happen to Thor? Will he manage to get his godly power back or he continue stay on earth and live like normal human?

Thor is the god of thunder.(Bullshit!) I can say it's another great job developed from Marvel Comics since Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four. They make all the characters alive in front of you and with the advance technology, Asgard is such a full of imagination city. I always believe there is another world live out there concurrently with us and I also believe there are a bunch of Gods living up there in the heaven looking at us.(I have quite a good imagination.) For those who don't have a chance to read the original comic of Thor, this movie is new and very exciting for you. If you aware, they even mentioned Stark Industries in the movie. Besides Thor and the interesting story, Natalie Portman will be another attraction especially after she won the Oscar but I think she was over passion when she kissed Thor. Maybe I was influenced by her act in No Strings Attached. One of the funny scene was Thor walked into a pet shop and said "I need a horse!" As a conclusion, this movie is a must watch movie but 2D is good enough and you should stay back for the preview of Captain America: The First Avenger.
