My Penny of View : The movie was based on the memoir of Elizabeth Gilbert. In others' eyes, Elizabeth had everything a woman wanted-home, husband and successful career as a writer. However, she felt unhappy in her marriage and she found that she wasn't getting what she want out of her life. She initiated a divorce and set out on a journey of self discovery that took her around the world. She spent months in Italy, eating and enjoying life (Eat). Then, she spent months in India, finding her spirituality (Pray). Finally, she ended her journey in Bali, looking for "balance" of the two and found love (Love) in the form of a charming Brazilian.

Julia Roberts always is American Sweethearts. She has great smile and stunning acting. I think she is perfect for the character of Elizabeth Gilbert as a mature lady and plum body shape after gave birth to a twins and daughter. The morale of the story is so true. It was captivating, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and hilarious. There was a scene which Elizabeth tried to convince her friend to eat the pizza. A man love you for who you are and he will never walk away even you have put on your weight. There were many beautiful scenes of Italy and Bali. I have never been to Bali, wish to go next year and find my romance over there. Anyway, it was not a romantic comedy or chick flick, it was a inspirational and healing movie.

"To lose balance sometimes for love is part of living a balanced life."

Rating : ★★★★☆
