My Penny of View : Zhang Xian appeared in town as a powerful and mysterious magician. He took over a restaurant and turned into a magic theater. While Lee Da Niu was a warlord that have seven wives. He wanted to use Zhang Xian to win his seventh wife, Liu Yin's heart. Actually Zhang Xian was Liu Yin's fiance that has been missing for three years. The return of Zhang Xian was full with motives-to defeat Lee Da Niu. Through the process, Zhang Xian discovered that Lee Da Niu has a good heart and made him change his mind. What will happen next? Who will be the choice of Liu Yin?

I totally have no idea about the story line before I step into the cinema. The only thing I know is I can see great casts like Tony Leung, Lau Ching Wan and Zhou Xun in this movie. Besides, special guests such as Alex Fong, Daniel Wu, Tsui Hark, Paul Chun and Vincent Kok enlighten the movie. Great casts and director but the story line only consider good. It started well with mysterious background and interesting magic tricks but it has an inexplicable ending. I think it kinda waste the resources of such talented casts. Overall, it is a fun and entertaining movie. It has the mixture of comedy, action and romance.

My Penny of View : Kwok Chun was an experience weather forecast announcer. He has been working in the same position for many years and he still wish to become a news anchor one day. He was staying with his daughters , son, son in law and brother in a same house but every people in the house were having their own problems and issues. Year 2012 was predicted as the end of the world. Many weird phenomenon reported in Hong Kong but actually all the phenomenon were created by the boss of Kwok Chun. Kwok Chun managed to stop the fake news to be announced and at that moment, he realized that he have to solve the problems within his family. Will he able to get his family back together?

Watching CNY movies during this festive season is one of the favorite outing. Nothing much to expect from CNY movies besides laughter and jokes. I Love Hong Kong back again with the success of past two movies since year 2010. Therefore, I have some expectations for this movie. Unfortunately, it didn't meet minimum expectations and I almost fall asleep in the crowded cinema. It probably due to less TVB actors and actresses show up this round. The only scene that excite me was adopted from You Are The Apple Of My Eye (那些年, 我们一起追的女孩). That was quite funny. However, the morale of the movie was good. According to prediction, year 2012 is going to be end of the world. While worrying the things that out of our control, what about start to act on the things that we are able to do such as be more caring to our family. Life is short, appreciate with what you have and give to those who is need.

He wished to go to future to see the life of his family. He met the grew up Ah Beng who was the security and he was being bullied by a group of rich brats. The Father helped Ah Beng and he followed Ah Beng back home to witness about his life. In the future life, The Father was dead, The Mother was ill due to the fire happened 20 years ago and Ah Beng quited school at very young age to support the family. The Father felt sad and regret for all the consequences. On the other side, Ah Beng felt grateful for help from a stranger. He invited him into his life and helped him to survive in modern world. What will happen to Ah Beng and his father? Will everything going to change when the father go back to oldies?

Ah Beng is famous from one of the My FM breakfast shows. The character is popular and sometimes people forget the real name of Jack Lim. Besides Ah Beng, other My FM DJs made special appearance and you will feel familiar with them if you are following My FM. This is a Chinese New Year movie with jokes, funny characters and touching story. Nothing much you can expect from CNY movies but laughters. I was surprise with the effects and standard of the movie especially the cars chasing scene. It was great and compatible with international standard. Don't forget the sponsors-Proton Persona and Nippon Paint, you always can notice their existence throughout the movie. I watched another Hong Kong production of CNY movie yesterday, but after comparison, this Malaysian production movie is definitely better. So, you know or don't know Ah Beng, this is a must watch movie. We need to support Malaysian product. Malaysia Boleh!

I'm more to a wine drinker, not particular into beer because beer is gassy and make you easily feel full but Starker is one of the fresh beer that I feel easy to drink with. La Bodega Deli@Bangsar

On 21.10.2011(Friday), I was spending my birthday eve with a bunch of good friends, Berry, Daniel and Eamonn at La Bodega Deli, Bangsar. It was my first time eating here and I heard many good comments about the food.

Fiduea is basically angel hair pasta cooked in paella with seafood. I love it.

Paella de pescado (RM60), Spanish rice cooked with seafood such as prawns, clams, and huge mussels. It took 30 minutes for preparation.

It was a pleasant and delicious dinner during the cold raining night. I can't find any other tasty Paella de pescado other than La Bodega. You should try it because you can taste the Spanish without heading to Spain. It seems like very long time that four of us sit down talk about everything. We went to Coffee Bean after the dinner to continue our chit chatting. I found that the more we grow up, the less time we spend together like previously.

I went to the Smokehouse in Bangsar, I can imagine the interior fully furnished with English style furniture and cool atmosphere. Not very hard to find this place with the help of map and signboard, Fraser's Hill ain't big city anyway.

Fraser's Hill a.k.a Bukit Fraser

On 08.10.2011(Saturday), a bunch of city girls and boys went up to Fraser's Hill. It took about 2 hours drive from KL. Previously the only way to go up by using the one lane road with traffic control between 7am-7pm. Odd hours for going up and even hours for descending traffic. Now with the new road, all downward traffic uses the new road, while the old Gap road is designated for upward traffic with no time restrictions. But I can tell you the road is so narrow and curve. Please ensure you prepare plastic bags in the car. I was throwing up when coming down on the next day.

Temperature at Fraser's Hill is cooler than Genting Highland. I heard that the rain in Fraser's Hill can make you sick. So, please put on a jacket if it's raining. Not much development and all the English cottages remained as previously. Activities you can do over here are hiking, birdwatching and golf. We were staying at Fraser's Pine Resort. Although it's old, dusty and most of the facilities are 'dead', it just nice to fit in 12 of us. No complaint. During the cold weather, steamboat is the best meal with fresh seafood from Sekinchan.

My Penny of View : On the New Year's Eve, Claire was the person in charged for the ball drop ceremony at Times Square with help of her friend, Brandon but it happened a small incident. Ingrid was the secretary of Ahem Records, she felt depressing with her life and she quit her job. She offered the deliveryman, Paul tickets for Ahem Records party with condition to help her complete a series of New Year's resolutions before midnight. Paul's sister, Kim was thinking to spend the New Year's Eve with her daughter, Hailey but Hailey wanted to spend the night with her boyfriend. Paul's friend, Randy hated New Year's Eve because his girlfriend left him earlier and he stuck in an elevator with Elise, who was the back-up singer for Jensen. Jensen was going to perform at Times Square and he still having feelings with his ex-girlfriend, Laura. At a nearby hospital, a man in the final stage of cancer that refused to accept any treatment but he only wished to go up to the rooftop to see the ball drop for the last time. Nurse Aimee kept him accompany. Two couples were in the same hospital to compete for a prize for the family of the first child of the new year. On the other hand, Sam was trying to reach at the Ahem Records party in time for an important speech and meet up with a woman he fell in love on the last New Year's Eve. So many stories happened in a New Year's Eve, will all of them get what they want before the brand new year?

The pattern of the movie is the same as Valentine's Day, which it's described a series of holiday vignettes of the state of several romances. Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Biel remained in this movie with different characters with additional other great actors and actresses. Not to mention two Catwoman-Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry. Don't forget long time no see, Jon Bon Jovi. New stars such as Lea Michele and Zac Efron lighten up the movie too, but Zac Efron is getting swollen if compare with his look in High School Musical. Ryan Seacrest made a special appearance as host for the New Year's Eve countdown. Besides busy spotting the actors, I find the story line was quite funny and hilarious especially the part that Zac Efron try to complete Michelle Pfeiffer's resolutions. One of the story is out of my expectation, I thought Josh Duhamel is going to meet Hilary Swank. Overall of the movie was entertaining and it definitely a festive movie. Everyone wants to wrap up everything on the final day and has new beginning in the brand new year. It also a good time to stop and think what you have missed in the past year and move on to achieve before the end of our life. New Year's Eve is having different meanings for every people. It's not just changing a new calendar but to tell you how far you have come to. Anyway, I still prefer last year Valentine's Day.

Year 2012 is finally here. Is our world going to end like the movie, 2012? So we should spend all our money and wait for death? I guess this is not a right approach. No matter how tough is our life, we still have to move on. New year is considering new beginning. It's a also time to recap what you did and achieved in the past year meanwhile plan for the brand new year. What I did in year 2011? Let's see...

1. Feel grateful that I'm still alive after seeing or hearing so many of deaths.
2. My parents and Momo are in the good shape, another reason to pray.
3. Career is considering good, tried different assignments, failure and success are very common but I learned from mistakes.
4. Relationship remaining status quo, still searching for the right one.
5. Life was exciting, joined different activities and met new people.
6. I'm constantly won some small prizes but I won a grand prize in the beginning of the year.
7. Thanks to my grand prize, I went to Hong Kong. I also went to Bali to find love with my BFF. Don't forget to travel to some interesting places in Malaysia such as Sekinchan, Fraser Hill, Penang and Genting.
8. Counting back movies I watched in cinema last year was 51 movies and out of 51 movies, 40 movies were sponsored. Wao...I save lots of money from here.

Life is imperfect and we should make it perfect as we can. Up and down in life is our spices of life to make us grow. Out of so many things we try to achieve in our life, we always forget to keep breathing is the most difficult things in our life. LIFE just a simple four letters but to color it we have to put a lot of effort. What I want to achieve in the new year? I want to stay alive, healthy, enjoy and always feel grateful. I want to eat delicious food, travel to places I never been to and enjoy every moment with the love one.

My Penny of View : Irene Adler, Sherlock Holmes' lover, was delivering a package to Dr. Hoffmanstahl. He opened the package and triggered a hidden bomb but detonated by Holmes. Adler later met up with Professor Moriarty for clarification for the incident and showed intention to quit. Unfortunately, she has been poisoned due to her love, Holmes, always the one that failed Moriarty's business. It was Dr.Watson's wedding and he went to see Holmes to remind him about the wedding. He found out that Holmes was investigating on unrelated murders, terrorist attacks and business acquisitions but somehow all the incidents seems related to Professor Moriarty. Holmes brought Watson to a bar for his bachelor night with intention to investigate on the missing of Adler. He met with Simza and at the same time an assassin appeared to kill her. Holmes managed to defeat him and Simza ran away. During the honeymoon of Watson and wife, Moriarty's men attacked them and Holmes showed up in time to rescue them. Seems like another adventure of Holmes and Watson has begin. What will happen to them? Will they able to solve the mystery?

Another series of Sherlock Holmes. For those who like to read mystery and investigation story, this movie is a must watch movie. Robert Downey Jr. the most well matched for the character of Sherlock Holmes. He enlighten the movie with his catchy, funny and smart acting. Sherlock Holmes has great analytical skill and also good fighting skill. His partner, Dr.Watson always is the one who understand Sherlock Holmes and they are the perfect partner. The beginning of the movie makes you confuse, then slowly the mystery reveal and finally bad guys defeated. Besides magnificent actors and fine story line, the movie incurred some slow motion effects. One of the scenes which Sherlock Holmes and gang escaped from a weapon factory, the bullets and bombs flying between them, the effects was awesome. The movie used old fashioned British English and they keep talking. Some people might find boring with this kind of movie but I'm the opposite because of my curiosity. I'm glad that I can understand the whole movie.

My Penny of View : In an assignment named Cobalt in Budapest, an IMF Agent killed by an assassin. On another side, Agent Ethan Hunt was rescued from a Moscow prison by Jane and Benji. The reason he has been rescued was to finish up the Cobalt assignment. They were required to go to Moscow Kremlin archives to locate files identifying Cobalt. During the mission, someone interrupted the IMF frequency and alerted the Russians. Ethan, Jane and Benji successfully escaped but they have been identified as the planner for the bombing. The Russians called the attack as undeclared act of war and the US president activated Ghost Protocol to disavow the entire IMF. What will happen to Ethan, Jane and Benji? Will they manage to solve the tension between Russia and US as well as save IMF?

Who don't know about handsome Tom Cruise with his famous act, Mission Impossible? The theme song is another symbol of the movie. Usually I won't have too much of expectations for this kind of continuous movie because the story line is always the same. The secret agent needs to complete an extraordinary mission, after so many obstacles, he will solve it in the stylist way. Beautiful and sexy lady girl is always one of the most important character in the movie. However, I can tell you that the movie is above my expectations. The action sequences are heart-stirring, exciting and fun. Tom Cruise scales the outside of the Burj Khalifa tower, which is the tallest building in the worldstuck at the high rise building in Dubai was thrilling and the multi-level parking garage was another unforgettable scene. After so many years, the charming Tom Cruise is getting older and fatter but his smile still can kill many girls and his actions still quick and nimble.

During the last trip to Penang to attend my cousin's wedding, I went to Straits Quay which is located at Seri Tanjung, Penang. This place is a new ‘Millionaires Row’ with seafront villas and luxury residences.

Actually I was attracted to this place because I noticed some people blogged about the Charlie Brown Cafe. The restaurant is located at the first floor and we didn't dine in but just took few pictures.

It was pretty rush visit to Straits Quay due to we have wedding dinner after that. The place is cozy and comfortable even it is located quite far away from the town. I will come back again because I'm thinking it should be nice to drink beer while enjoying the cold sea breeze.

It was a free and relaxing trip. Sometimes travel in small group is better to avoid conflict of opinion especially with a friend that has interlinked mindset. Thanks for your patience my friend. After grown up, Gary have a lovely girlfriend, Mary and they planned to go Los Angeles to celebrate 10th anniversary. Gary invited Walter along so he could see the Muppets Theater. When they arrived, the Muppets Theater seemed closing down and they have been long time didn't put on a show. Walter overheard that the theater will be selling to a businessman and his intention behind was to drill underneath oil. The only way to save the Muppets Theater was to raise $10million to purchase back the theater. Walter felt sad for the news and together with Gary and Mary, they went to find Kermit to solve the problem. Kermit felt sorrow for the news and he needed to reunite the group back for a show to raise such money. Therefore, Kermit, Walter, Gary and Mary went to track down others to save the theater. Are they able to save back the theater? What kind of barriers waiting for them?

Toy Story-Small Fry is the opening for this movie. I really miss Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Mr. and Mrs Potato Head...I'm gonna watch all the Toy Story all over again. To be frank, I'm more familiar with Sesame Street rather than The Muppets but I'm happy to watch such fun musical show. All the muppets are lovable, heartfelt and adorable. I like the Travel by Map feature, no passport needed. Jack Black, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Neil Patrick Harris and Zach Galifianakis make the special appearance and light up the whole movie. The story and characters are old fashioned but it reminds the toys that the kids should be playing instead of iPad or video game. It's definitely a movie suitable for this holiday season.

Bali Trip-Pura Tanah Lot

This was the final temple I visited in Bali. Pura Tanah Lot is the temple surrounded by sea. It was built to worship the Balinese sea gods. The Balinese will need to ride boat to the temple when it's high tide.

We were waiting at Tanah Lot for sunset about 6.15pm. Both of us were enjoying the sound of wave and the windy weather. The feeling of doing nothing was good, let your brain rest for one moment.

Bali Trip-Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

The next temple we visited was Pura Ulun Danu Bratan or Water Temple in Bali. The temple is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. Therefore, it has a cold tropical climate.

This temple has the better scene and environment out of so many temples we have visited. The view of the lake and temple is wonderful and the altitude is cooling with foggy weather. But the repeated Balinese architecture of temple looks similar for me. Our driver, Made Jiwa (Tel: +628123668893) brought us to a nearby food stall for lunch.

This food stall is not recommended. The environment is dirty and quiet like no people came for very long time. We even wondered where she got those water to cook and wash. The price is costly and not worth for the taste. We felt grateful that we didn't have food poisoning after the meal.

Bali Trip-Pura Taman Ayun@Mengwi

After the healthy and delicious breakfast, we went to Pura Taman Ayun, Mengwi. This temple was built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi as his family temple. The terraced courtyards of the temple are set in very well maintained grounds, surrounded by man-made waterways and entered over a bridge. Some people called it Garden Temple in the Water.

My Penny of View : Twilight series continued with graduation of Bella and followed by her wedding, as the only condition to become vampire. Jacob was upset with the wedding but finally he attended the wedding. He got to know Bella and Edward have plan to complete their marriage during honeymoon. He felt mad and he wanted to attacked Edward but stopped by his wolf pack. Later, Bella and Edward went for their honeymoon on a private island. They had sex for the first time but Edward realized he was hurting Bella badly and he stopped do that again. Bella felt disappointment but later Edward gave up on her seductions. After two weeks on the island, Bella found out she was pregnant and the fetus was growing extremely fast in her stomach. They quickly terminated the honeymoon and went back to Forks. What exactly is Bella carrying? What will happen to her?

It seems like a trend to has two parts for series of movies. I guess the production team and the writer are trying to show as many story plots as possible according to the book. Expectations for this movie-the wedding, Edward has sex with Bella and give birth.

The wedding is so beautiful and lovely. I don't think Kristen Stewart is pretty but the light make up highlights the her natural beauty. For hair, the messy style looks stunning. Her dress is designed by Carolina Herrera. It looks simple from the front but sexy and it has beautiful lace details on the back. The shoes called Swan Embellished Satin Pumps that make her appearance perfect. Next is the wedding theme. It has white flowers hanging with wooden chairs at both sides of the entrance. Everything looks simple and natural. Everything is flawless with Edward as the bridegroom.

Sex scene has been censored in Malaysia cinema. So, no chance to see how powerful is the sex between vampire and human. The last scene to look forward is the delivery baby but it has been censored as well. End up baby suddenly appear in the arm of Rosalie and Bella suddenly die. If those people didn't read the book, they will have a lot of questions in mind. The scene that Bella turn into vampire quite hilarious. In order to become stunning without and collagen or botox, become vampire can have such results. Anyway, it still a great movie to me and I shall wait for the full HD version. I can't wait to see the second part.

Although the show started late but the live singing and dancing made us forget about how long we have waited. I love the way Aladdin enter the stage, the appearance of Genie with his songs and dance moves and the singing of "A Whole New World" while flying on the carpet. This is the third time Sunway Lagoon held such musicals and I can say they become better and better in terms of crowd arrangement, background of stage, music and fireworks. The show ended with snowing for the coming Christmas.

My Penny of View : In the future, time was the currency and it represented wealth. Every individual stopped aging after 25 years old and they have to work to earn time for living or they will die a year later. Everyone have their time embedded on their arms and each social class differentiated by Time Zone. The poor needed to work everyday to earn for living and other expenses in Dayton while the rich one could live luxuriously for centuries in New Greenwich. Will was living with his mother, Rachel in the poor Time Zone and he promised to bring Rachel to New Greenwich one day. Will and Borel visited a bar and they met a rich 105 years old Henry. Minuteman stopped by trying to rob Henry and he was saved by Will. They went to an abandoned factory. Henry expressed tired for being immortal and Will felt upset and he argued that everyone should die naturally rather than depends on time they have. After that night, Henry transferred his time to Will and himself went suicide at the bridge. Will intended to save Henry but too late and he was recorded by surveillance camera. Finally, Will's dream came true to bring his mother to New Greenwich but he waited at the bus station and he found out she didn't arrive as usual. He quickly ran toward his mother originated place but it was too late and she has been timeout. What will happen to Will? What will he do with the time he got?

Justin Timberlake currently don't sing and dance but he likes acting. I have watched the Friends with Benefits earlier and I think his acting skill has been improved quite a lot. He is the only 'N Sync that survived after all. The story line was interesting, the future currency not gold or diamond but time. The poor need to work to gain the time while the rich live immortal. They even can transfer time and go to bank of time to apply time loan. They use time to pay for rental, drinks and even bus fare. The rich one has plenty of time and they live luxuriously in different Time Zone. The poor work to live but the rich one request to die. I guess this kind of phenomena is happening in our current world. If we still don't do something to rectify it, the gap between poor and rich will be come bigger and bigger but isn't it should be this way in order the poor one keep on working to move on to higher class? Wealth don't come by luck but smart, hard work and opportunities. But hopefully inflation can be controlled wisely. Sometimes, different occur as pushing factor to move forward. This movie is definitely an inspiring story to foresee our future.

Bali Trip-Breakfast In The Room

During the next morning stay in Green Field Hotel, we woke up early in the morning and walked around the hotel. They have the high energy salty water swimming pool which is facing the beautiful tropical garden. We thought to swim or soak in the pool but due to the water was too cold, we quit the thinking. The room come with breakfast that you can either enjoy it at the restaurant or you can ask to serve in your room.

The breakfast was simple and healthy with the fresh air and magnificent view. Over here, you will be treated like king and queen. I think the price is compatible with the service provided. Before we went to this restaurant, we walked to Bebek Bengil Restaurant (Dirty Duck) which is famous of Crispy Duck to check it out. The popular dishes, Balinese Smoked Duck need to be ordered a day before. Therefore, we decided to walk back to Pundi-Pundi Restaurant. Both of the restaurants can be reached via walking, very near.

We were sitting next to fish pond, from time to time you will listen frog croaking and peaceful environment for a lovely dinner. The restaurant was as crowded as Bebek Bengil Restaurant, so both of them have different customers. After full dinner, we planned to walk to Ubud street but we realized the street was so quiet. So, we only stopped by convenient store to grab some snacks and drinks then went back to our hotel. We were sitting at the balcony, looking at the dark and quiet paddy field, and chatting or gossiping. It was a calm, peaceful and wonderful night.

After lunch break at Babi Guling Ibu Oka, we continued our journey to Ubud. Ubud is quite far away from Kuta and it's famous of paddy field, babi guling, spa and Ubud market. We stopped by Ubud market before went to Green Field Hotel, second place that we were going to stay. I could see there are many Taiwanese tourists in the market and the Balinese even can speak fluent Mandarin. They offer a very high price for every goods, maybe Taiwanese tourists are rich but they ain't stupid. I witnessed a splendid negotiation. The local here very realistic, once they found out you are Malaysian, they don't really want to serve you as we know the value of the goods. I didn't get anything from here because they have bad attitude and the price not cheap.

The cost is USD72 or Rp650K per night inclusive of 21% tax and service-charge. The room charges also comes with breakfast.

The room is so big and more than enough for two persons. We even have our spa in the room. You just need to book the service in advance and the hotel will arrange the people go to your room. You can have your spa open air with paddy field view and flower bath in huge bathtub. It was a great place for relaxing and honeymoon.

Jing Teng and his friends tried to attract Chia Yi's attention in different ways. One day, Chia Yi forgot to bring her textbook, Jing Teng gave the book to her and himself being punished by teacher. Ever since, Chia Yi started to like Jing Teng and she volunteered to help him in his studies. The relationship became closer. After graduation, although both of them went to different college but their relationship became ambiguous. What will happen to Jing Teng and Chia Yi? Will they be together?

Giddens (九把刀) is a famous Taiwanese writer. He started up with online horror story. His nickname is memorable and the way he write is funny and this story is his own true story. The story makes you think back your previous fun school time. When you are teenage, you will have crush or puppy love with opposite sex and also curious about sex. School time was fun with great friends and memorable naughty incidents. The first part of the story was entertaining, funny and 18sx because it talked about masturbation but I think it's so true. The second part of the story was full of regretful and questions that never have answers such as "If Jing Teng not so impulse and says sorry to Chia Yi?", "If Chia Yi tells Jing Teng that she also likes him straightly?" and "If Jing Teng put extra effort to get Chia Yi?" I can say this kind of incident do happened in our life. When we are young, we dare to do a lot of things and chase our love but due to our immaturity, the true love didn't work out. Although we feel sorry and regret for our action but life still need to move on. All we can do is learn from mistake and don't repeat it again. If you really love someone, you should give him/her full blessing and wish for the better one to come in future. Be grateful with what you are having. Hope to see more Giddens (九把刀) movies in future. I notice he is also Jay Chow's fans.

The Gods were not allowed to interfere the war between Hyperion and humanity according to an ancient law but Zeus secretly chose Theseus, the one has warrior spirit to protect the humanity. Zeus undercovered as an old man to influence Theseus to fight for the community. Theseus's mother died when Hyperion attacked the village and Theseus was so angry with it. He wanted to revenge but it was not successful. Later, he met Phaedra, an Oracle that can have future visualization. What will happen to Theseus? Will he able to stop the King of Hyperion for releasing the Titans?

Although I'm kinda adore the powerful Greek Gods but when it turn into war and fighting, I feel boring with it. I don't like to see the killings and cruel punishments. So bloody and violent. The ancient Gods are magnificent but I don't understand how come they can be killed in fights? If you enjoy watching muscular man, I guess you will be enjoying the movie too. This movie is filmed using 3D technology. Although I'm not watching 3D version but I can see the 3D effects. I don't really enjoy fighting but the Renaissance painting style is very cool. All the scenes just like a painting. When I was watching the movie, the only concern I have was will their under being exposed? Because all of them were wearing mini skirts. As conclusion, if you like 300, you will like this movie.

Bali Trip-Babi Guling Ibu Oka

Another "must eat" food when you are visiting Bali is Babi Guling Ibu Oka. Babi Guling aka suckling pig is a roasted pig with Balinese herbs and spices for 5 hours roasting. The first stall is located at Jalan Tegal Sari and we went to their branch which is located at Jalan Raya Desa Mas, both places are on the way to Ubud. The new branch is definitely cleaner, bigger and not so crowded.

What they mean by Complete Meat? It has slices of suckling pig, sausage, skin and vegetables. It served with soup and rice. Some people said not everyone can eat Babi Guling, maybe because of the herbs or the hygiene of the pigs. For me, I'm fine with it, didn't fall sick after eating but I don't find it very delicious like other people mentioned. The skin was crunchy, the slices of meat were juicy but the sausage tasted weird. It's a very special dishes because you can't have it in Malaysia but I still prefer Char Siu and Siu Yuk. If you haven't try before, you may give a try.

The breakfast especially the coffee brighten up my day as I didn't have a sound sleep the night before. The total bill was Rp26K for two persons. Our first destination was Bali Bomb Memorial at Jalan Legian, Kuta.

Bali Bomb Memorial is a memorial for 202 people that murdered by the bomb attack on 12th October 2002. It was a terrible terrorist attack and another bomb attack happened again in 1st October 2005. Ever since, tourism in Bali affected seriously and everybody thinks of bomb when talk about Bali. Every year on the anniversary date, there will be a ceremony mourning for those that killed or wounded by the bombs.

2002 Bali bombings was a sad tragedy. The local and victims' family were still haunted by the tragedy. The security in Bali became tighter ever since because tourism is their main source of income. Anyway, don't be afraid to travel to Bali because of this incident. Life is short and unpredictable. We not necessary will die in Bali but we also not necessary will stay alive at home.

Our second day dinner settled at Made's Warung which is located near Kuta Beach. It's one of the must try food if you are visiting Bali.

The restaurant is warm like home and full house when we arrived. We have to wait for a while to get our table. With only two us, we have limited choices in trying different food because our stomach can't afford to eat so much and it's bad to waste food. We don't have chance to feel hungry throughout the whole Bali trip and I have gained after that. So, most of the food we ordered is for sharing.

I like the food but it was slightly pricey. I don't think local people affordable to have a meal here. I hope they don't keep increasing the price and they should maintain the standard of the food. Besides local food, they also serve breakfast, Western, Japanese and Thai food. I guess the history of Bali influenced the taste of food and they are open in adopting different culture.

After full dinner, we were walking around Kuta town and we bumped into Christine outside Hard Rock Hotel. What a small world? Later, we have drinks at Black Canyon Coffee before went back to hotel.

I have confession to make, I'm a loyal Chatime fans in terms of I only drink Roasted Milk Tea with Pearl. The food were yummy and seems like kinda heavy for teatime. Luckily we shared the food so we can try different choices. The mingle session included a mini game that was 5 teams with 4 members took turn to taste the Chatime drinks and write on paper the name of the drinks. Momo, Daniel, Shin Ee and I participated in the game and it was fun.

Teatime with Chatime was fun and there were many familiar faces of bloggers and churpers. It was my first time attending same event with KampungBoyCityGal although all the while I'm following their blog. Their blog is really compact, informative and seducing. They did a great job.

My Penny of View : Tintin, a young journalist, was hanging around in a open market with his dog, Snowy. He saw a model of a three-masted sailing ship, the Unicorn, and he quickly bought it with a good price. Right after the deal made, two gentlemen, one of them was Sakharine, appeared and tried to buy the model from Tintin. Tintin refused and he brought the model home. With full of curiosity, Tintin examined the model carefully but later it was destroyed by Snowy and neighbor's cat. Later, he went to library to find out about the model. He got to know that the model was built by Sir Francis Haddock and his old place was Marlinspike Hall. Tintin went to that place and he met Sakharine. He saw Sakharine has another identical model. What is the secret of the models? What kind of adventure is waiting for Tintin?

Who the hell is Tintin? The comic do look familiar to me but I can't recall the story about Tintin. Therefore, this movie is seems like full of mystery to me. With the names of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, you will definitely have certain expectations for the movie. The comic of Tintin is from French, not so popular in the past over 20 years due to the decease of the writer-Hergé. The flow of the story went more and more exciting. It was a fun, heart-stirring, funny and warm movie. Especially the chemistry between Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock. The story not going to run away from the comic book and 3D effect will be another focal point. Someone even asked me, is Tintin played by human? Because she said Snowy looks like a real dog. From this question, you can come to conclusion that the animation is awesome and incredible. 3D effect just sufficient as the objective of the movie is to convert the comic book into another series of animation in future. So, I guess there will be more and more the adventures of Tintin and Snowy coming soon.

During the recent Bali trip, we visited to the famous Tegalalang Rice Terrace in Ubud. The rice terrace is designed beautifully and precisely located on the hill bank. You can see the farmers allocate their rice field in oblique area complete with its system irrigation. This system creates a magnificent panorama of valley with rice terrace and gardening with coconut trees.

While Xia Mi was working hard in the resort, she have to find out the evidence to prove the fraud. But the more she investigated, another version of story came out and she felt confuse with it. What exactly is the story behind? What will happen to Xia Mi and Yoyo?

This movie consider as sequel of the previous Summer Holiday with same director but different actors and actresses. The movie took place in Malaysia again on Lang Tengah Island. FYI, Lang Tengah is located between Redang Island and Perhentian Island. You get to enjoy the beautiful scenery and beach from the movie. Both the main casts-Eddie Pen(彭于晏) and Angelababy are the current popular artists in the industry. Therefore, I was watching the movie with a bunch of underage girls. Besides beautiful scenery and young artists, I like the story line. It's about a guy who is secretly observing a girl and later he find out she has a weakness but he never tell her because he is gradually fall in love to her. Then they have been separated due to some misunderstandings and they get back together. A relationship that been through difficult test will be tougher later. When you love a person, you should not discriminate her weakness but you should accept and compromise it.

True love does not come by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

As we know, close to a year ago, she was suffering from third degree burns during her shooting for "I Have a Date with Spring" (我和春天有个约会). Her marriage has been postponed due to the incident. Her husband, Ah Diong never leave her but be there all the time for her. The incident not only gave Selina physically painful but mentally and life testing to see whether she has the courage to stay on her life. With support from Ah Diong, Selina recovered pretty fast and back to her beautiful and sweet looks. Bravo to Selina for never give up her life and Ah Diong for never give up Selina. The incident happened before they officially become husband and wife because God want to test their sincerity and love to each other. Luckily they managed to overcome it and finally they are happily ever after.

The main attraction here is the long rectangular pool carved of stone, filled with koi and fed by the sacred spring via 12 fountains. Purification starting with offering at the temple, then climb into the main pool to bath and pray. After the whole process, some will collect the holy water in bottles to take home.

I can see many of the locals as well as the tourists came here to pray and bath with the holy water. When we are facing some issues in our life that we can't solve or we want something badly, praying seems a very good idea to calm us down or motivate ourselves to get it. Holy water or not, it's just depends on whether you believe in it or not. There is no right or wrong, as long as what we believe in bring us towards better life and become good people.

The second part was about a group of tourists from Hong Kong murdered innocently. The reason behind of the murder was about a large amount of money. After get killed, the group of tourist came back to find the person for revenge. Will the bad guy get what he deserved?

To be frank, I can't remember the last time I watch such traditional Hong Kong type of ghost movie. Nowadays, all movie more towards high technology instead of good story line. I was kinda looking forward for the show but I found quite disappointed with it. Ghost story is about mystery features with sudden sound effect. Both of the stories are good but the effect make the ghost looks fake. The second story was funny and most of the actors are from TVB. When you see familiar faces, you even feel comfortable with the movie. Anyway, the movie is better than Don't be Afraid of the Dark but Paranormal Activity 3 is the best among all the recent horror movies I watched.

What they want from Sally?

This movie is another remake of a old television horror film. I wonder is it the entertainment industry has run out of story? Well, the story line is exactly the same as previous film but with different ending. Of cause you can see the advance technology makes the creatures terribly horrible. So, what are those creatures? It's tooth fairies but they are the smart and violent type. They not only want tooth but they want the human become one of them. They have one weakness which is they afraid of lights. I found the movie is able to scare kids but adult will find it quite funny. Bailee Madison did a great job and she is a very potential horror movie actress. Another spotlight is Katie Holmes because she is Tom Cruise's wife. This couple so aggressively in acting recently, another child coming?

After the amazing Kintamani, our driver, Made Jiwa (Tel: +628123668893) brought us to Starbucks in the jungle-Sai Land Cafe Luwak. Kopi Luwak or civet coffee, is one of the world's most expensive and low-production varieties of coffee. The special coffee is made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Plam Civet. The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested and keeping their shape. The interesting part is the civets will only eat the finest berries.

The Sai Land Plantation is a family owned plantation that grows cacao, coffee and all kind of different herbs.

As a coffee lover, I'm definitely won't miss the chance to taste the world's most expensive coffee. Although they don't have coffee machine to blend the coffee well, but you can smell the strong aromatic coffee. I tried the first sip without sugar and I found it less bitter. The coffee bean seems blended well with the civet's enzymes and I even can finish the whole cup without sugar. Probably due to the coffee is too strong, I can't sleep at night. Kopi Luwak is the most expensive souvenir I ever bought, USD19 for 100g only. I wonder how many cups of coffee I can make?

The couple quickly rushed out to ensure the kids were alright and the camera fell down on the floor. The silt from cracked ceiling dropped on a giant and invisible human shape object. Then when the thing moved, the silt fell on the floor. Dennis reviewed back the video and found such strange incident. His friend, Randy suggested to put cameras throughout the house to capture any strange events. So, what will be captured by Dennis? What will happen to them?

This movie is pre-prequel of Paranormal Activity 1. It's back to the time when Katie and Kristi were still young. It make more sense now the whole Paranormal Activity throughout some conversations in the movie. I guess the most challenging part is to get the right old camera to record the video as technology is not so advance previously. Some scenes in trailer are not shown in the movie and even have been modified. It was full of surprise and unexpected movie plots. The most terrifying scene was when Julie was in the kitchen, suddenly door bell rang and she went to answer the door. When she back to the kitchen, all the kitchen equipment disappeared. Suddenly, the table and chairs dropped from ceiling and crashed over her. This scene is extremely frightening than the PA2. I feel the ending is kinda exorcist. I wonder will it be PA4?

Charlie noticed they were wealthy and he volunteered to take care of Max with $100,000. Although Charlie and Max were bonded with DNA but they were strangers because they never meet after Max was born. Charlie used the money to buy another robot to continue illegal robot fighting but meanwhile he have to take care of Max. What will happen to Charlie and Max? Will Charlie able to build good relationship with Max and meanwhile clear his debt?

Wolverine back to big screen with the character of former boxer and adorable father. He was kinda asshole in the beginning of the movie and you will feel like punching him because he totally don't have any feeling with his son and all he knows is about robot fighting to earn money. He was such a loser. Subsequently when Max and Atom appeared, his life changed. I like the story line. It was exciting, heart-stirring and touching. I really hope we can have such robots in future. I want to have Atom at home. I definitely love Dakota Goyo. He is cute, good in acting and he is a great dancer. He is potential to become the next Justin Timberlake. Hugh Jackman played a very important role in the final part of the movie and made Atom the champion of Real Steel. This movie is a must watch movie of the year and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Kate was one of the scientists that participated in the discovery. The Thing has been transported back to their research center for further research. Dr. Sander as the lead of the scientists insisted to retrieve tissue sample from the creature. On that night, the scientists were having celebration about their discovery. Due to curiosity, one of the members went to check out the creature and suddenly it escaped out from the ice and it killed the man. The group of people found out the attack and quickly split into groups to search for the alien. Are they manage to find the alien? Who will survive?

This movie is a prequel to John Carpenter's own 1982 same title film. What exactly is The Thing? It was an alien that was able to imitate human cells and transform into human face and body. Besides, it even have brilliant brain and manage to hide within the group. It never reveal its alien's face until it attack another human. This is the tricky part. The group of people hardly determine which one is the alien and full of suspicious. The alien is extremely smart and its objective is to return to its spaceship. I'm quite fascinating with the ability of The Thing but the movie flow went a bit slow and seems like lack of some excitement. I think the most interesting part will be Kate (the only survivor) caught inside the spaceship. She was almost caught by The Thing. I was getting colder when watching the movie, maybe because the setting of the movie was held in Antarctica, one of the coldest and driest place on earth.

If you come early in the morning between 8-10am, you will get unexpected great deals because Balinese believe that if they make the first business after praying, it will bring good fortune throughout the day. I can see they are strong prayer, you will see joss stick everywhere.

Everyone sees Steve Jobs as a genius, inventor and entrepreneur but I see Steve Jobs as a fighter.

In 2004, Steve Jobs has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his pancreas and the doctors told him it was a type of cancer that was incurable. He even been told that he should expected to live no longer than three to six months. After biopsy, the doctors declared that the pancreatic cancer can be cured with surgery. Therefore, he has the surgery to remove the tumor and he lived after that. In 2008, Jobs's health seems uncertain and Apple officials stated Jobs was victim to a "common bug" and he was taking antibiotics. Later in 2009, Jobs underwent a liver transplant and his prognosis was excellent. After one and half year Jobs returned from his liver transplant in 2011, he has been granted medical leave and he stated that he should focus on his health. On 24 August 2011, Jobs resigned with the following statements.

“I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple`s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.”

On 05 October 2011, Jobs died at his home due to complications from a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

My mood was affected by the death of Steve Jobs. Not because we lost a genius, inventor and entrepreneur, but we have lost a fighter who fought with death and tried to stay alive every moment. I been through a major operation 10 years ago and I truly understand how a patient feels. It was scary and it made me cry every night. The worst part was you can't cry in front of your family and friends but you only can show your toughness. I survived and I have wonderful 10 years.

Here, I will like pay my tribute to Steve Jobs, a fighter who fought death bravely. I remember his quotes while he was presenting Stanford Commencement Address in 2005 after he was cured from surgery.

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life."

Will started to think the man that was watching the house was Peter Ward and his family was in danger. Will continued to search for more information to protect his family. Can Will successfully protect his family? What is the whole story behind the incident?

What was on your mind when you were watching the trailer? Honestly, I thought it was a horror or ghost movie. Well, it end up differently and kinda sympathy for the main characters. The reason behind the murder even hilarious but in the end the bad guys got the payback. Don't understand what I'm talking about? Then probably you can spend your weekend for this movie to find out what happen. Daniel Craig is one of the focal points of the movie. It was my first time watching him in this kind of movie. Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts are another two great actresses that made the movie full of emotions. The story plots became out of my expectation but you can't deny the magnificent acting by the talented actors. The movie seems like a bit similar with Shutter Island.

Eating seafood on the beach in Jimbaran is one the must do itinerary during Bali trip. There are many seafood restaurants with tables are set up right on the sand and if you sit at the lowest tables at high tide, you can even get your feet wet. We don't have any preference, therefore we requested our driver, Made Jiwa (Tel: +628123668893) recommended the seafood restaurant with good price and delicious food which was New Matahari Cafe.

Many people come to Jimbaran Bay for sunset while eating dinner, probably I will come again for this reason.

After fell for the fascinating Tirtha Uluwatu, we went to Pura Luhur Uluwatu. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is a Balinese Sea Temple and one of the Balinese Directional Temples with the majestic cliff setting. The entrance fee is Rp6K and you need to be properly dressed to enter. Sarongs and sashes are available free at the entrance.

When you walk around here, you have to beware of monkeys. They will snatch visitors belonging which including earring, necklace, spec, hat, camera and even sandal. Luckily my driver, Made Jiwa (Tel: +628123668893) was there to protect us. He walked around with us and he was carrying a stick to scare of the monkeys. If so unlucky that the monkeys snatch your belongings, the local will help you get back it with charges of Rp10K-50K. From what I observed, the monkeys have been trained to snatch those items so the local can earn extra money. First time in my life I hate monkey so much.

Recently seems like a lot of artists and friends are having their weddings on either island or garden. Bali can be one of the choices if you wish to have the most memorable wedding. During the recent Bali trip, I visited Tirtha Uluwatu which located at Uluwatu. This place is a perfect place for simple wedding ceremony with only close relatives and friends. The place not really open for public visit but we pretended that we were doing survey for wedding place in next year.

The venue is so calm, hidden and quiet. In a school project, Nathan and Karen found a childhood picture of Nathan on a missing persons website. Later, Nathan found evidences shows the display picture was genuine. When he wanted to confront with his parents, two guys showed up and tired to catch Nathan. The parents were killed to protect Nathan. Karen saw the whole incident and she have to go on run with Nathan. Who exactly Nathan's parents? Why the people try to catch Nathan? Will Nathan be safe from the bad guys?

One word for this movie-CHEATED. Again the trailer was very successful to attract attention with Taylor Lautner as the lead actor in the movie. The story seems interesting in the beginning because of curiosity, try to understand what's going on and who are those people after Nathan. In between, there were hide and seek game between Nathan and bad guys but still Nathan successfully escape. The most exciting part was the baseball game with thousand of audiences in the stadium. Although Taylor Lautner has muscular sexy body but his acting was messy and incompetent. He still so Jacob Black to me. I really hope he can improve in acting because you can't keep depending on your body. People is looking for excitement and thrilling movie.

Bali Trip-Nusa Dua

It was so full after eating at Ayam Tulang Lunak Malioboro. We started our Bali exploration with Nusa Dua. Nusa Dua is famous of white sand, deep, long and safe for swimming. It is also home to the most popular golf course in Bali and the main convention centre on the island. The first beach side that we went was the place offers water sports activities such as banana boat, parasailing, jetski, diving, flying fish. One more attraction will be Turtle Island which is a turtle conservation area and you get to sit on glass-bottomed boat that allows observation of marine life. Those activities cost about USD25-30.

We were not so into water sports activities and we just took some photos. I think the beach not as beautiful as our Malaysia's beach, probably because it has been polluted by people. Our driver brought us to another beach that located inside Nusa Dua Golf and County Club.

After See Ying and I watched the movie-Eat Pray Love, we decided to go Bali to find L-O-V-E. We patiently waited for Air Asia promotion and finally we got the good deal which was RM200 per pax inclusive of check in luggage. Therefore, our Bali set from 20.08.2011 until 24.08.2011.

In the early morning of 20.08.2011, I took KLIA Transit to LCCT from KL Sentral. It's not a direct transit, the train will stop at Salak Tinggi station and there will be shuttle awaits to send you directly to LCCT. It cost RM12.50. Check out their schedule online to plan your trip.

Coincidentally I met See Ying on the train and she just got back from Tibet the day before. We checked in and had breakfast at McDonald but still we seems like rushing for boarding.

After 4 hours of journey, we reached Bali. Our driver was Made Jiwa (Tel: +628123668893) and he waited us at the airport. The charges was Rp350K for full day and Rp250K for half day. The cost included mineral water, driver's meal, petrol and parking. He is a careful and patient driver. You can tell him places you want to visit and he will suggest the best route to cover all the places.

Some school kids seemed missing and Ed (Charley's friend) found out their friend also missing without any reason. Ed urged Charley to go their friend's house to find out what happened. Meanwhile, Charley has a new neighbor, Jerry and Ed told him that Jerry was a vampire but he don't believe. When Ed on the way home, he met Jerry and tried to escape. Unfortunately, he couldn't get away and bitten by Jerry. The next morning when Ed was absent, Charley realized the incident can be related to Jerry. He quickly went to Ed's house and searched for more information. Seems like the suspected vampire has begin his hunting in neighborhood. Will Charley and family manage to escape from the vampire?

This movie is a remake of the 1985 Tom Holland film of the same name. As we know, vampire suck blood and they can't expose to sunlight. The vampire in this movie follow the nature of vampire in Vampire Diaries. He can eat and drink but still his favorite will be human blood. Every vampire is charming and glittering, same goes to this vampire. Since I didn't watch the original movie, the story line seems good to me. Besides chasing and killing, I found the movie quite funny. The latest technology makes the vampire looks so scary when they want to suck blood. The scene that Charley and Peter attacked by a lot of vampires in the basement is heart-stirring. Another outstanding scene will be Jerry blow up Charley's house because if there is no house, he needs no invitation to enter to claim the victims. Anton Yelchin quite good as vampire buster. Do you know he play the sound of Clumsy Smurf in The Smurfs? Quite talented ya?

My Penny of View : This movie was about the documentary of Apollo 18 mission to the moon. Walker, Grey and Anderson were sent to the moon to collect moon rocks sample and also place the alert detectors for national security. Grey remained orbit while Walker and Anderson landed on the moon. Both of the well-trained astronauts were in the mid of completing the mission and collecting some moon rocks. While they were attempting to sleep, the camera inside the space shuttle captured the moon rocks were moving and they heard strange noise outside. On the next day, they continued their mission and they discovered footprints and led them to a Soviet lander. They found that the lander still functioning but with blood stain all over. Later, Anderson found a dead astronaut nearby. What exactly happen on the moon? Will Walker and Anderson manage to go back to earth safely?

This is a low budget movie with only 3 actors. The 90 minutes try to create uncertainty, fear and suspicious to audiences. Just like Paranormal Activity, it was recordings but taking place on the moon. Of cause Paranormal Activity is way much better than this movie. You must have high curiosity to remain seated in the cinema hall. Try to act very into the movie so you won't feel the 90 minutes is long. So, what exactly attacking them? It just the space spiders that can turn into moon rocks when remain still. I'm telling you guys here because I don't want you guys waste money to watch it in cinema. Nothing special, unless you want to get bored.

Subsequently, Lilian have engaged and she invited Annie to be her maid of honor. During the engagement party, Annie met with the fellow bridesmaids-Helen, Megan, Rita and Becca. Annie felt threatening by the beautiful and rich Helen; and she felt jealous with the close relationship of Lilian and Helen. What will happen next? Will Annie able to come out the perfect wedding as the maid of honor?

This movie is a female-driven comedy. Interesting characters, unexpected movie plots, full of laughter and unforeseen ending. You can't stop laughing throughout the whole movie. Especially the scene that the bridesmaids were trying out the gowns. They were having food poisoning and diarrhea. You should pay more attention on that part. Another funny scene should be the one that they were flying to Las Vegas for bachelorette party. On the plane, Annie was out of control and disturbing other passengers and they were kicked out from the flights. But later I found out that scene is a bit unnecessary and a bit draggy. Maybe due to some technical issues and I found that the movie is too long. After the all, it's still a good comedy and I think Jennifer Aniston will be more appropriate for the character of Annie.

My Penny of View : The movie started with a bunch of staffs were on company retreat. They were heading to their destination by a bus and they passed by a renovating bridge. One of the co-workers, Sam suddenly has vision that the bridge is going to collapse when the bus pass through. Everyone on the bus die in the horrible way. Later, Sam quickly urged everybody to leave the bus after he saw the similar signs of the vision. Sam brought Molly to leave the buss and Peter, Candice, Olivia, Nathan, Isaac, and Dennis followed. After that, the bridge collapsed and the rest of the co-workers died. During the memorial ceremony, a coroner approached them and mentioned that they have cheated Death. Even they managed to escape from the tragic, Death still come for them. All of them ignored the warnings and moved on their life. What will happen to the survivors? Are they manage to escape from Death?

Final Destination series always is one of the favorite popcorn movies. If you are following every Final Destination films, you will know the chronological of the film. It's so easy as ABC. First, a person has vision of frightening tragic. Then, he or she will give warning and there will be some followers. A bunch of people manage to escape and they thought they going to live happily ever after. Who knows Death still come for them. Later, one by one will die in terrible and shocking way. Sound boring, right? I can tell you this film is definitely out of your expectations. There were many surprises in the ways that the survivors died. Therefore, audiences were so busy guessing how the people will die. The last film was too meaty while for this movie, the people die in artistic way. I quite admire the creativity of the production team. This movie is before event of the first Final Destination.

At the same time, Clumsy showed up and said he would like to pick up some Smurf Roots but stopped by Papa. However, Clumsy went out of the invisible protection secretly to pick up Smurf Roots and followed by Gargamel. Gargamel found the secret path go into the Smurf village and wanted to catch all the Smurfs. In the mid of chaos, Clumsy ran into a forbidden cave. Papa, Smurfette, Grouchy, Brainy and Gutsy noticed and hurry went after him. They tried to pull Clumsy up from the cave but they were sucked into a giant vortex and led them to New York. What will happen to them? Are they manage to go back to the Smurf village?

I remember I watched The Smurfs cartoon on TV when I was younger age. When the technology become advance, many new animations developed purely for 3D effects. Especially when the creator of The Smurfs-Peyo died in 1992, no one seems want to continue to invent more great stories of The Smurfs. Therefore, I believe the younger generation kids not sure who the hell is The Smurfs. Back to the movie, with new technology, The Smurfs appear in the big screen after so many years. Same old story line, important characters chase by bad guys, with help and faith, they manage to escape and live happily ever after. Predictable movie plots but full of laughter and humor. The Smurfs are cute and adorable. Although they are blue in color but you never feel blue after you watch the movie. You also can hear the familiar The Smurfs theme song. Katy Perry plays the voice of Smurfette. I think she quite fit for the role. Good job! The Smurfs definitely a perfect movie for whole family for this upcoming long holiday.

My Penny of View : Glee: The 3D Concert Movie presented a Glee cast concert in East Rutherford, New Jersey during the group's Glee Live! In Concert! tour. You will see some behind-the-scenes footage and songs from the first and second seasons.

Alert! The movie do not have any story line but great songs and real life story that inspired by Glee. If you are Glee fans, you know the drama is all about a bunch of nerd or losers of the school found their oasis through joining Glee Club. It taught about no matter you are tall, short, pretty or ugly, if you enjoy sing or dance, you can outshine by admit your weakness and develop your potential.

The movie started with their theme song-Don't Stop Believing. Then, it shows the solo part of each Glee members. I think it will be better if the movie can show the lyrics so that the audiences can follow their singing. Gwyneth Paltrow made the special appearance. She didn't sing very well but she can heat up the concert. I was expecting appearance of Sue Sylvester but she didn't appear at all. I was enjoyed myself throughout the one and half hour hours. It will be great to have the DVD for collection. I get to know Mini Warbler. Isn't he such a cutie? His especially made suite, oversize tie and his dance move are making him perfect.

Then, he took their outfits and weapon to a small town. When he arrived at the small town, he found a house to treat his wound. Later, Percy, a local bully that have an influential father was messing around with his gun. The sheriff arrested Percy and he recognized Jake was a wanted outlaw. Subsequently he arrested both of them and wanted to send them to the state office. Percy's father, Colonel Woodrow came and demanded for his son. During standoff, suddenly a few unknown flying objects flew towards the small town and attacked them. The flying objects even caught people of the town. The attack stopped when Jake used the strange metal band on his wrist to shoot down the flying objects. What are the things that attack the town? What is the purpose the flying objects catch the human?

First of all, I totally no idea how cowboys and aliens related to each other. If cowboys fight with aliens, I don't think they able to defeat the fast, cruel aliens. The aliens even have advance technology as they are from different planet.(According to another alien's movie) What kind of weapons that cowboys has? Only ropes, guns, horse and they can fight.(But not with aliens) The beginning of the movie did create curiosity of what are the things that attack the town but as usual, the scene has been shown in the trailer million times. Therefore, not so much of surprise. The only scene that out of expectation was Olivia Wilde actually was an alien too from another planet. (So many aliens!) Well, the aliens came to earth for a purpose. In the end, who won the battle? If you curious about the ending, you have to watch it yourself.

Olivia Wilde is hot. She seems like a mixture of Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman

On the 15-17.07.2011, my company was having our very first Team Building at Pulau Tioman. We were taking Berjaya Air from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang) directly flew to Pulau Tioman. The ticket was on promotion price which cost RM304 per person. The Team Building was held at Berjaya Tioman Resort.

This is the plane that bring us to Pulau Tioman.

The Berjaya Tioman Resort provides buggy service from airport to the resort.

The plane only can carry 48 passengers. The stewardess will give a wet tissue and a bottle of drinking water to each passenger. I think her existence is unnecessary. The whole flying journey took about 40 minutes. My flying experience with Berjaya Air was hot, bumpy, noisy and scary.

We are staying at this Superior Chalet. Normal rate is RM600 for one night.

The superior chalet features garden views. Some of the room facilities such as air conditioning, ironing facilities, seating area, fan, shower, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar, safety box and balcony. My staying experience at Berjaya Tioman Resort was cozy, comfortable, scary(because there was monitor lizard walking around) and hot water not hot enough.

I was super sick on the first day and I quickly went to clinic to get some medicines. Our first day was a wet day, not able to do kayaking but only play games at the game room. Second day morning was the classroom style training and afternoon was the team building activities. On the third day, we went for snorkeling and island hoping before we caught Berjaya Air back to KL.

It was summer holiday for some of the countries in Europe. So, you can see many European were having summer vacation on the island. I can say that the Pulau Tioman is less commercial if compare with other island such as Pulau Redang. The seawater is blue when near to beach and green in the middle of the sea. When you go snorkeling, you can see turtle, jellyfish, colorful coral and fishes. My team building experience was fun, tired and brainwashed.

Back to time when I was studying in Maxwell, there were a lot of sweet and sour stories happened.

Sour: The school was no longer reached by bus No.11, STPM was tougher(I never passed any subjects until the actual STPM), I was on two months medical leave due to kneecap operation.

Sweet: I joined choir club and represented school for competition, fun school activities, my friends and classmates were caring especially after I was back from long medical leave, I got my first car-Kancil仔.

My mini Kancil仔 brought me to many places, it was powerful and I never worry for getting parking for Kancil仔. After 10 years, it's time to let Kancil仔 go but I will always remember Kancil仔.

All of us have been staying in Malaysia for so many years and we aware of all the major festival such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year and Deepavali. We aware that Muslims will be on fasting for a month before Hari Raya. We respect it and we even enjoy to go Pasar Ramadhan with our Muslim friends. C'mon...all of us been to school.

Due to the last two years incident in Las Vegas, Stu, Phil and Doug were considering whether want to invite Alan along. In the end, Alan was coming to the wedding. After the dinner, the wolf pack sat at a campfire together with Teddy, Stu future brother in law. They were roasting marshmallows and toasting for Stu's happiness. On the following morning, Phil, Stu and Alan awoke at a dirty hotel in Bangkok together with Chow and a monkey. Stu has tattoo on his face, Alan's head shaved and they couldn't find Teddy but his severed finger. No one remember what have happened except Chow. When Chow wanted to recall the event of the prior night, his heart beat stopped after took drug. Stu, Phil and Alan were in serious situation, they can't find Teddy and they have a dead body in the room. What exactly happen the night before? Are they able to find Teddy?

Another continuation movie? The Hangover in 2009 was huge and normally sequel movie not as good as the first one. Well, I can say this movie is better than expected. The story was hilarious, entertaining and out of your imagination. They did a lot of wild and crazy things. Zach Galifianakis has an amusing face and his gesture makes you can't stop laughing. I can say the whole movie live up because of him. I'm personally fancy about Bradley Cooper, he has the eyes that speaks.

Work hard and play hard is a great quote to have a wonderful life but there should be a limitation. Over do it or too wild probably can cause the consequences that make you regret for the whole life. So, think before act. As a conclusion, if you want to have a fun and great weekend, check out The Hangover 2.

On 14.05.2011, Steve, Huey Ying, See Ying and I formed Y3S team to participate in the 10th Hospis Malaysia Charity Treasure Hunt 2011. Last year, 9th Hospis Malaysia Charity Treasure Hunt 2011 was hunting from KL to Kuantan. This year the hunt started in Bukit Beruntung followed by Ipoh City and the last stop was Taiping.

We were so satisfied after eating all the food. Later, we were heading to Hydro Hotel that located at Batu Feringgi for the dinner and prize presentation.

If compared with 9th Hospis Malaysia Charity Treasure Hunt 2011, I think I have improved in solving riddles. We even managed to find two out four treasures. Sometimes, the result is not that important, the crucial one is all of us enjoy the process. I will hunt again next year.

Xu Baijiu was a detective that responsible for the case and he slowly found out the background of Jinxi and the true story of the accident. On the other hand, Jinxi's family discovered his location and came to ask him back to the community. They even threatened him by killing the people in the Liu Village. Who exactly is Jinxi? Why is he hiding in Liu Village?

Donnie Yen back in action with another martial art film together with Takeshi Kaneshiro and Tang Wei. It was quite an interesting movie because it was not an ordinary Kung Fu movie but also included some brain-tickling investigation and Chinese medication. Donnie Yen was a sinful martial art expert but he has kind heart. Takeshi Kaneshiro no longer about his handsome look anymore but awesome actings. Tang Wei is another great actress who never let the audiences disappointed. I think they have eliminated some of the horrible and meaty scenes. It was quite frightening and thrilling. The last scene was quite funny, Thor killed the bad guy. What I mean? Get a ticket and watch it in cinema.

During the party, Tori told Matt that she hated her job. After heart to heart talkings, Tori started to like Matt and they have sex in backyard. Matt felt sorry for Tori and he told her the truth that he was unemployed. Tori was so mad and left the party alone. What will happen next? Will Matt able to get Tori back?

The story of this retro comedy film is happened in one night. The title of the movie gave you just enough heart and retro party spirit. I was expecting laughters, some musical and dancing but end up was just some lame jokes and immature actings. The movie plots were too detailed until made me feel boring. I thought the song "Take Me Home Tonight" by Eddie Money will be play in the movie like in the trailer. Therefore, it was quite disappointing. Fine, probably just me don't enjoy this kind of movie.

When both of them started to know each other, Larry fell in love with her. Will their relationship work?

This romantic comedy film has been directed and written by Tom Hanks. The story is quite inspiring. It was about a man who goes through a sudden career change and he found unexpected consequences from his failure. The right and positive attitude is indeed when obstacles occurred. Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts are great actors. Both of them have the charisma and influence especially in inspiring story. They have the soft and relaxing chemistry. As an audience, you just need to follow the flow of the movie and not a complicated story.

Harry, Ron and Hermione went back to Hogwarts with Aberforth Dumbledore's assistance. Snape has became the headmaster of Hogwarts and he threatened the students for hiding Harry. Harry unwilling to see the students been punished because of him, he confronted Snape. Professor McGonagall helped Harry and Snape got away. Professor McGonagall gathered the community of Hogwarts and prepared for battle with Lord Voldemort and gang. The war has been exploded. What will happen to Harry Potter? Are they going to beat down Lord Voldemort?

I was watching the premiere screening with a bunch of Harry Potter fans. This movie is the last movie of Harry Potter series. There were some events and cosplay before the screening. When the movie started, everyone in the cinema hall clapped for the opening. It was fun. Back to the movie, the adventurous story of Harry Potter come to the end. The trio-Harry, Ron and Hermione back in action for the final battle. With the advance technology, the whole ideas of J. K. Rowling become alive in front of you. Harry Potter's movie not a kids show anymore but slowly developed into dark movie. If you like fantasy story, this movie is a must watch movie for the year. The movie flow presented the important scenes from the book. With the true heart and strong believe, Harry Potter and others able to take Lord Voldemort down. Besides the war, the first kiss of Ron and Hermione is one of the important movie plot. Although I know what is the ending about but I still LOL when I look at the 'grown up' Harry and others sent their children to Hogwarts. 3D effect not that much, so just watch the ordinary 2D is enough because the story and the acting were awesome.

My Penny of View : The film started with a Cybertronian spacecraft that carrying a secret weapon that able to stop the war between Autobots and Decepticons crashed on moon. The crash detected by human and it linked with one of the most historical mission which was sending Apollo 11 to the moon and find out about the crash. In present, the Autobots were assisting the US military in protecting the peaceful of the world. In one of the mission, Optimus Prime found a cell from the Ark which discovered the top secret of mission to the moon. The Autobots traveled to moon to explore the Ark and they found Sentinel Prime, the former Autobots leader. Later, Optimus Prime used the energy of his Matrix of Leadership to revive Sentinel Prime. On the other hand, Sam has graduated from college and he has been actively looking for job. When he started a new job, his colleague acted weirdly and provided him some information about Megatron and Decepticons plans. Sam tried to convey the message to NASA but being rejected by them. He went to seek for help from retired Seymour Simmons. What will happen next? Will Sam and Autobots manage to stop the wicked plan of Megatron and Decepticons?

Transformers return after two years and I'm sure lots of fans have high expectations on this film since the last Transformers is not that good. Shia LaBeouf is one of the iconic of Transformers movies. From the previous high school boy and now he is a graduates. His beautiful partner no longer is Megan Fox but with British Victoria Secret model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. No doubt she has nice boobs but her British accent doesn't match with the movie. Why is she always wear white color shirt or dress in the movie? As a conclusion, no chemistry found between her and Shia LaBeouf. Next, Optimus Prime is the leader of Autobots. He seems like he has improved a lot because in this film he is able to defeat Megatron and Sentinel Prime with only one arm. The adorable Bumblebee is now the latest model of Chevrolet Camaro. As always, he will be the one that save Sam when he is in dangerous. Sentinel Prime looks tough but end up easily defeated by Optimus Prime. The story line is draggy and too much of explanations. Two and half hours in the cinema seems boring with talkings and lame jokes. I think the exciting parts will be the fighting scenes between Autobots and Decepticons. It has been purposely shot in slow motion and the conversion 2D to 3D is nicely done. After all, this movie is better than the previous movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Urban Escape to Sekinchan(鱼米之乡)-Day 2

All of us slept about 4am and the initial plan to catch the sunrise at 6am cancelled due to everyone still having meeting with Mr Chow. I woke about 8am and prepared myself to leave this place. While I was waiting for others, I hung around the bungalow and enjoyed the fresh air of rural life.

After everybody woke up and packed all the belongings, we checked out from the bungalow and went to take photo at the paddy field.

We went to buy sweet and giant mango at a housing area before our brunch. I spent RM32 for 5 mangoes.

This restaurant is famous of giant fish head. None of us good in eating fish head, therefore we only order the ordinary fish. Fish lovers will love this restaurant because the fish is so fresh like just caught from the sea and the price is so cheap. Remember to try their giant fish head at this Restoran Ka Lok. You just ask around the local where to eat the pure fish meal and you will reach here.

After filled up our hungry stomach, we left Sekinchan and went back to the city life. It was a short but fun trip. You will feel recharge and ready for upcoming challenges. We even discuss about our next destination. Nowadays everyone is stressful.

During the Urban Escape to Sekinchan(鱼米之乡), we had our dinner at Guan Seng Loong Seafood Restaurant, Sekinchan. This place is famous of fresh and full of variety seafood. We needed two tables to fit all of us. Let's see what we ate...

Vegetables are good for health.

Clam soup, this is delicious and the clams are fresh.

Baby shark soup, the shark meat has more compact texture if compare with ordinary fish.

Steamed prawn, you can feel you are swimming in the sea.

Fried cuttlefish, crunchy and juicy.

Mantis prawn, yummy.

Sweet & sour crab, truly savory.

We ordered the exact same dishes for both of the tables and the total bill not even more than RM300 which means one person only cost RM15. You can enjoy so many seafood in a time with such a cheap price.

When we finished all our food, it was about 9pm. The workers were cleaning up the restaurant and once we stepped out the restaurant, it closed immediately. I guess the people in Sekinchan are not nightingales.

Urban Escape to Sekinchan(鱼米之乡)-Day 1

On the super sunny day (23.04.2011), a bunch of city girls and boys drove all the way to Sekinchan(鱼米之乡) for recharging and relaxing. Sekinchan is one of the major rice producing areas of Malaysia and also a fisherman's town. The town has became famous after the drama-鱼米之家.

Here we are.

We have arrived around 5pm and we went straight to the Sekinchan Summer Resort & Homestay. It's actually a three storey bungalow that especially built. We rented two storey and there were total 7 rooms. It completes with living room, kitchen, fridge, air-cond and shower. It's clean and spacious. You can bring your own Wii, cards or mahjong. It's a good place for a bunch of buddies hang out. It only cost RM320 per floor.

After full seafood dinner, we went to watch fireflies at Kampung Kuantan. As we know, firefly lights up at night especially in the dark riverbank that buffered by berembang trees. Each person cost RM10 and each boat (sampan) holds 4 passengers. I heard last time used to have crocodiles in the riverbank.

When you see from far, the fireflies light up just like a Christmas tree. When the boat go nearer, I can be very sure that the fireflies are real. It so amazing. Too bad we can't take photo. So, let's see the cute version of firefly.

Our seafood dinner still not yet digest and we were heading to another food hunt. We heard this food stall sell delicious fried oyster.

It is a small food stall but seems like it become a hang out place for people in Sekinchan. We waited for quite long then only our food served. The fried oyster has crunchy skin together with flour and oyster. Overall the taste is fine but we find it not easy to find oyster, most of them are flour. We went back to our bungalow after finish up the food.

On 17.04.2011(Sunday), the gals were having birthday celebration for See Ying at Smokehouse, Bangsar. There are Smokehouse in Cameron Highlands and Fraser's Hill too. So, for KL people you still can enjoy the English Tudor style cottage in the middle of KL city without going up to the hills.

I was enjoying myself hang out with the girls at this cozy and comfortable restaurant. You can have a lot of laughter and sharing while enjoying the delicious food. For my next visit, I will try out the Smokehouse’s signature afternoon tea set. Probably, I can try that at Fraser's Hill.

Hong Kong Trip-Mong Kok(旺角)

On our last day of Hong Kong trip, we hung around at Mong Kok(旺角). We started our day in a small narrow 24 hours restaurant. I was facing dilemma to choose which food to take and finally I chose the dumpling with hot milk tea.

Mong Kok is a mixture of old and new multi-story buildings, with shops and restaurants at street level and commercial or residential units above. There are interesting and unique streets and markets such as Ladies' Street(女人街), Temple Street(廟街), Portland Street(砵蘭街), Sneakers Street(波鞋街) and many more. In the early morning, not so many shops open and you only can see old folks on the street.

Busy choosing Angry Birds

After done our shopping, we rushed to airport and flew back to Malaysia. Hong Kong is a very unique place. It's a place where East meets West. Previously when they were under British colony, the people never stop growing. In fact, Hong Kong is one of the world's leading international financial centers. After 1997, Hong Kong is under the principle of "one country, two systems", it has a different political system from mainland China. They are known as a country with high economic freedom, financial and economic competitiveness, quality of life, corruption perception and Human Development Index.

It was a short trip to experience the Hong Kong life. Their trademarks are fast moving, narrow space and lack of humanity. I was scolded by an auntie on the first day(wtf). I'm personally quite admire them in terms of their hard-work to develop their country but I think I will take some time to fit into their society if I need to stay there. Anyway, I wish I can go back to Hong Kong again for other places. Now, let's enjoy the partial fireworks presentation at Hong Kong Disneyland.

My Penny of View : The movie started with a scientist, Schmidt saw a young boy, Lensherr bend a metal gate with his mind. Later, he took the boy from his parents. He forced him to move a metal coin on a desk and he killed his mother. Lensherr became out of control and destroyed the room. On the other hand, a young telepath, Xavier met a homeless shape-shifter, Raven. He invited her to live with his family when he found out both of them were different with others. Years later, Lensherr was tracking down Schmidt for revenge. While Xavier was quite a successful professor on his mutation thesis. CIA was investigating on an US Army Colonel and discovered Shaw(Schmidt) with a bunch of mutants. They were on Russia Army side and spying on US Army's movement. Agent CIA sought for Xavier's help to deal with the abnormal gang of people. Is Xavier manage to overcome the war between US and Russia? How he do it?

This movie is a prequel to the X-Men film series. It's focusing on the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants. Looks like they have run out of story and now they are going backward. Anyhow, it's something extraordinary if compare with others. Although the movie don't have our favorite character, Wolverine, but it's still an interesting story to understand how Professor X start up the X-Mansion and how Mystique become opposite side of Xavier. Wolverine and Storm made a special appearance. This movie have made a complete series of X-Men. But why is First Class? Is it the next movie is Economy or Business Class?

Our last stop at The Peak was Madame Tussauds. It is part of the renowned chain of wax museums founded by Marie Tussaud of France. The wax figures are featured in a range of themed settings such as Hong Kong Glamour, Music Icons, Historical and National Heroes, The Champions and World Premiere.

End of my wax museum exploration journey

It's an honor if you have your own wax figure in the museum. It's signatures that you are an influential, powerful, great and contribute a lot to the nation. Every tourist wish to take photo with their idol because they probably don't have chance to meet with them personally. I met so many stars and icons in a night.
